The Sports Feed appears as a separate tab within the Facebook app. Users can find it alongside their main news feed. This tab collects all sports-related posts and updates in one place. Fans no longer need to search through their general feed for scores or news.

Content from favorite teams, leagues, and athletes automatically populates the feed. Users see posts directly from official team pages and verified player accounts. The feed also shows relevant news articles and video highlights. Live game scores and schedules are integrated directly.

“This is built for fans,” said a Facebook spokesperson. “They asked for an easier way to follow sports. The Sports Feed brings everything together instantly.” The feature personalizes content based on the teams and players each user follows. Users can also manually select specific interests to follow.

The goal is to save fans time. They get updates without actively searching multiple sources. Live game updates appear prominently during matches. Fans can see key plays and scores as they happen. Video highlights from major games surface quickly after events end.
